At the same time, Newton-Corbett introduced a succession of well-known American products into the UK market: Grecian Formula, Odor Eaters and Lanacane for Combe International; Pepto-Bismol and Chloraseptic for Norwich Pharmacal; skincare products and T-Gel for
Neutrogena; and Corn Silk, Mudd and Sun-In for Chattem Inc.
Today Newton-Corbett is continuing in the toiletries category with its own products, Barely There spray-on body oil and Flamingo Treatment Gel, while representing Straight Arrow’s Mane ‘n Tail line, Lee Pharmaceuticals depilatory, nail care and lip care products, and Albolene for DES Healthcare Solutions. Additionally, Newton-Corbett markets the Lewis range of nutritional supplements to the health food sector. The emphasis now is moving toward direct-to-consumer marketing via websites and catalogues, which the company feels can best deliver the sales response for its speciality niche brands. |
