the skin cannot clear itself.

Pore Lotion, is a specialist formulation combining grease solvents for
cleaning combination and oily skin and for skin prone to spots and
blackheads.
Blackheads
are the tip of a plug of sebum, the skin’s own natural oil that oxidises
when exposed to air. The use of Katherine Corbett’s unique Open Pore
Lotion will gradually dissolve the plug of oily waste matter with its
blackhead, and allow the pores to recover their full function of keeping
the skin clear and healthy.
Used
on the face, and on spotty or blemished shoulders, it clears away excess
oil, dissolves blackheads, and cleanses away stale makeup and waste matter
- unblocking pores, to keep skin clear and unblemished.
Application: Use like a dry cleaner! Take two pieces of dry cotton wool; dampen one with Open Pore Lotion. Take one piece in each hand, dab on and wipe off at once. Systematically travel over all areas of the face except the eyelids. Do not splash with water or apply cream immediately afterwards. Leave the skin to rest for about ten minutes before applying make-up. Can be used up to twice a day to dissolve excess oil. If less oily, but with an acne tendency, use once daily or every other day, cleansing at other times with a mild facial soap and water.
